Job Title: Digital Product Manager 4 / Product Owner (AppSec)
Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred - 300 S Brevard St) or Dallas, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12 months (potential extension and conversion)
Pay Rate: $61 - $65
Top Requirements:5+ years of Digital Product Management/Product Owner experience within Agile environmentsStrong Application Security (AppSec) experience (vulnerability management, SAST, SCA, code scanning tools)Proven ability to manage product backlogs and translate strategy into executable featuresPlusses:Background in AppSec engineering transitioning into Product OwnershipExperience with tools such as Checkmarx, TruffleHog, or similar vulnerability scanning platformsExperience in DevSecOps environments and secure software development practicesExperience in large enterprise environments with multiple delivery teamsFamiliarity with enterprise security frameworks and governance standardsJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Digital Product Management. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Digital Product Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Translate enterprise Application Security strategy into actionable product features and deliverables
- Own and manage product features across assigned AppSec delivery teams
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment
- Break down initiatives into epics, features, and user stories for planning cycles
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful feature development and delivery
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning and execution
- Drive product initiatives from intake through delivery and deployment
- Align product outcomes with enterprise security objectives and standards
- Support vulnerability management and secure development initiatives across applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including security engineers, developers, and leadership
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure timelines are met
- Provide updates and reporting to leadership and senior stakeholders
