Web Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Web Developer.

Summary:
This position is a Java-based, Web Applications Developer that belongs to an Agile DevOps Team(s) and performs all Developer roles on large, complex system functions and products. We are seeking local candidates in Utah. This position requires advanced knowledge, skills and abilities of application coding, technical environments, development tools and typical application development processes. The environment is a Java-based web platform. There is special consideration for a developer with training and/or experience in the emerging VIBE Coding rapid development methodology.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of work experience as a Web Developer on medium to large scale, mission critical systems or projects
* Must have adequate, secure internet access at remote work site provided by the Developer
* Must provide their own remote work site peripheral equipment, such as monitors, docking station, keyboard and mouse, etc.
* Remote work site must provide for private workspace for focused work effort during designated work hours
* Must be geographically located within the State of Utah, and able to conveniently work in a hybrid model of in-office and remote on a weekly basis within the Salt Lake valley area
* Current hours of work are scheduled 40 hours per week, 32 hours in weeks with observed holidays (exceptions must be approved in advance)
* Current work locations are Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office
* Cubicle workspace environment
* Consistency of daily attendance is expected
* Time off is approved in advance

Scope:
* 20% - Cost
* 10% - Direct work experience as a Web. Developer
* 30% - Development Tools and Skill levels
* 30% - Developer Roles and Experience on Systems and Projects
* 10% - Software Development Lifecycle Knowledge and Experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
