Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is focused on transforming enterprise software engineering through the adoption of Generative AI, AI-assisted development, and modern engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have experience driving software engineering transformation initiatives, enabling AI-powered developer productivity, and implementing AI solutions across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

You will work closely with engineering leaders, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, modernize engineering processes, and implement AI-driven solutions that improve software quality, delivery speed, and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-driven software engineering transformation initiatives across enterprise applications.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted software development tools, coding assistants, and developer productivity platforms.
• Apply Generative AI, foundation models (LLMs), and Agentic AI to improve software development workflows.
• Drive adoption of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-enabled engineering frameworks throughout the SDLC.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows for code generation, testing, validation, documentation, and deployment.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, DevSecOps, QA, and product teams to modernize software delivery practices.
• Identify AI use cases across the SDLC and develop implementation roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.
• Improve developer experience through engineering automation and AI-enabled platforms.
• Present technical strategies and AI transformation recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, engineering best practices, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• 3 5 years of experience in consulting, software engineering transformation, or enterprise technology modernization.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and coding assistants.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Foundation Models, and Agentic AI.
• Experience with enterprise SDLC, application modernization, DevSecOps, quality engineering, or developer experience transformation.
• Practical experience implementing AI-enabled testing, engineering automation, and developer platforms.
• Experience applying Spec-Driven Development (SDD) or similar AI-driven engineering methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps.
• Ability to evaluate AI opportunities, develop implementation strategies, and deliver measurable business value.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience interacting with executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, Amazon Q, Codeium, Claude Code, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with developer platforms, platform engineering, and internal developer portals.
• Experience working within enterprise consulting or digital transformation organizations.
