Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst (BPA) to support organizational transformation and process improvement initiatives. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes using structured business analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process analysis, workflow optimization, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and developing practical recommendations to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods.
  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.
  • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials.
  • Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
  • Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements.
  • Provide regular project progress updates and maintain documentation of deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate stakeholder feedback into final work products.
  • Support strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, and enterprise-level process improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts.
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, and implementation documentation.
  • Experience working in government, healthcare, finance, regulatory, public health, or other regulated/service-oriented environments is preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement and quality management methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Master's degree in MBA, MHA, or a related field preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional certification/training preferred.
