Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Solution Architect / Consultant to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation and modernization initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing end-to-end architecture solutions across application and infrastructure landscapes, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability while aligning with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define and own end-to-end architecture across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and strategic technical decision-making.
• Develop architecture blueprints, HLD/LLD, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Drive modernization initiatives (monolith to microservices, on-premises to cloud).

Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation

• Lead cloud adoption and migration programs including data center and workload modernization.
• Assess current environments and define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor).
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions (Azure preferred).
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability (FinOps alignment).

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and client presentations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and capability development across teams.
• Engage stakeholders across global teams and enterprise clients.

Governance & Best Practices

• Establish standards for coding, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud adoption.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across programs.
• Support pre-sales activities, solutioning, and proposal development.

Technical Skills

Application & Development

• Strong expertise in .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Web API)
• Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• API-first design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus
• Strong database knowledge: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, NoSQL

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, API Management, Service Bus)
• Containerization: Docker; Orchestration: Kubernetes / OpenShift
• DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep
• Automation: PowerShell, Python, Ansible

Infrastructure & Networking

• Expertise in compute, storage, networking, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Strong networking knowledge: VNet/VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, VPN, ExpressRoute
• Experience with migration tools: Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure

Observability & Security

• Monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus
• Security: IAM, encryption, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Zero Trust architecture
• Compliance frameworks and governance best practices

Architecture & Migration Expertise

• Proven experience designing scalable, high-availability enterprise systems
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and integration patterns (ESB, middleware, EDI/B2B)
• Experience leading large-scale migrations (100+ workloads)
• Expertise in phased migration strategies and wave planning
• Strong understanding of performance tuning, caching, and fault tolerance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• 8–10+ years in architect or leadership roles
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with enterprise clients and global delivery teams
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and executive-level discussions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (preferred)
• TOGAF or equivalent certification (nice to have)
• Additional certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, VMware) are a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience in BFSI or other regulated industries
• Exposure to EDI/B2B platforms (Seeburger, MuleSoft)
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
• Experience with AI/ML integration in enterprise solutions
• Familiarity with SRE and reliability engineering practices
