Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s cloud infrastructure and strategy. The ideal candidate will oversee cloud architecture, ensure system scalability and security, and guide engineering teams in building reliable cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise cloud architecture and infrastructure.

• Develop and execute cloud strategy, standards, and best practices across the organization.

• Manage cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Oversee cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.

• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and compliance of cloud systems.

• Implement DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to support cloud-based applications.

• Monitor cloud usage and optimize performance and cost efficiency.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to cloud engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or system architecture.

• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect.

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation projects.
