Construction Methods Specialist III

Job Summary:

• The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and communicate standardized construction standards and methods for Transmission, Distribution, and Substations (TD&S) across three operating companies. These methods must uphold the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and system reliability while improving efficiency of construction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Five-years of construction experience in Electric Utility field work (Journeyman equivalent); or a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline with two-years of experience in Electric Utility field work (i.e. construction, maintenance, engineering, supervision).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proficient technical writing capability.
• Proficient verbal communications and presentations skills.
• Proficient facilitation and questioning skills for working with subject matter experts.

Skills:

• vendor management, construction management, overhead distribution, underground distribution, substation, transmission line, metering, transmission planning, transmission & distribution

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Need someone that has been an EX- Lineman for utilities. This person will be the point of contact between engineering, construction and external vendors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00/hr.
