We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Logistics Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics, including cost control, freight, 3PL management, logistics, and international shipping. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry. The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of our products.
  • Oversee all aspects of logistics, including freight, 3PL, and international shipping.
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring high-quality service at the best possible cost.
  • Continually analyze logistic costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations with manufacturing, sales, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to international shipping.
  • Manage and lead the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our logistics operations.
  • Handle any logistics-related issues or crises, implementing solutions quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with cost control, freight, 3PL, logistics, and international shipping.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and handle unexpected situations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with logistics service providers.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and international shipping.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and other relevant IT systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in logistics management.
