About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator & Developer to lead the administration, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strategic Salesforce professional who can understand business objectives, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and recommend best practices that balance configuration and customization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on expert in Salesforce platform development, architecture, integrations, and administration, with strong experience in Lightning technologies, OmniStudio, and enterprise application delivery. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Salesforce System Administrator across Salesforce environments.
  • Manage user administration, roles, profiles, permission sets, security settings, and data access controls.
  • Maintain and enhance reports, dashboards, workflows, flows, validation rules, and other platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, performance bottlenecks, and system defects.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and define implementation approaches aligned with platform best practices.
  • Design and develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related technologies.
  • Configure and develop OmniStudio solutions including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards.
  • Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware platforms, and asynchronous processing technologies.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, solution design discussions, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Conduct system audits, monitor platform health, and prepare environments for Salesforce releases and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application architecture, usability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Promote Salesforce development standards, security best practices, and DevOps processes.
  • Support CI/CD initiatives utilizing Salesforce DX (SFDX), version control systems, and automated deployment processes.
  • Ensure accessibility, compliance, and quality standards are incorporated into solution development.

Required Qualifications

Experience
  • 7+ years of Salesforce Administration and Development experience.
  • Strong experience developing Salesforce solutions using:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Salesforce Flow
    • OmniStudio
    • Experience Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations utilizing:
    • REST APIs
    • SOAP APIs
    • Middleware platforms
    • Event-driven and asynchronous technologies
  • Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience conducting Salesforce Classic to Lightning migrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governance, security, and platform best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Experience
  • Public Sector, Education, Government, or K-12 domain experience.
  • Enterprise-scale Salesforce implementation experience.
  • Experience reviewing and improving third-party/vendor-delivered Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms.

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce OmniStudio Developer Certification

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
