  • Assist with life-cycle management of instrumentation, including upgrades and replacements.
  • Coordinate and oversee external contractors performing calibration-related work.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP requirements and site safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Metrology, Instrumentation, or related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; OR
  • 4+ years of direct calibration/metrology experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience calibrating and troubleshooting instrumentation in a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with instrumentation such as:
    • Pressure gauges and transmitters
    • Temperature sensors and transmitters
    • Flow meters
    • pH and conductivity instruments
    • 4 20 mA instrumentation
    • HART communication devices
  • Experience writing SOPs, calibration procedures, and technical documentation.

  • Calibration Technician Certification (ISA or equivalent).
  • Experience working for a calibration laboratory, third-party calibration service provider, military metrology program, or pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturer.
  • Experience leading calibration projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with GMP/cGMP environments and compliance requirements.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated Calibration or Metrology professional with broad instrumentation experience and strong technical troubleshooting abilities. They should be comfortable working independently, building processes, coordinating calibration activities across departments, and supporting the transition of an outsourced calibration program to an internal operation.

Why Join?
