Job Title: Project Scheduler - Data Center ConstructionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a driven and detail-oriented
Project Scheduler with strong experience in
data center and large-scale construction projects. This role plays a critical part in planning, coordinating, and tracking complex projects from early conceptual phases through engineering and construction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project timelines, resources, and risks are effectively managed.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Strategy- Partner with preconstruction managers, project managers, engineers, superintendents, contractors, and project services teams to develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Support projects from conceptual planning through engineering and construction execution, with a focus on accuracy and constructability.
Resource Management- Develop and maintain schedule logic, constraints, realistic activity durations, and resource loading.
- Balance short-term milestones with long-term project objectives to ensure successful delivery.
Risk Management- Analyze the schedule impacts of design changes, scope modifications, and unforeseen delays.
- Proactively communicate schedule risks, mitigation plans, and recovery strategies to company leadership and clients.
Stakeholder Engagement- Lead and participate in challenging schedule-related discussions with Owners, General Contractors, Architects/Engineers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
- Engage directly with clients, attend recurring project meetings, and present schedule updates and statistical reports.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting- Track project progress using defined metrics and reporting tools.
- Adjust schedules as needed to address changing requirements, performance issues, or field conditions.
Quality Assurance- Integrate detailed schedule fragments and sequencing logic to ensure alignment across all project phases.
- Validate schedule accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities to optimize scheduling processes, improve visibility, and enhance project outcomes using new tools, technologies, or methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- 5+ years of professional scheduling experience in construction or related industries.
- Proven experience scheduling $50M+ projects, preferably within data center, electrical construction, manufacturing, technology, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Strong proficiency in gathering, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting schedule data.
- Working knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path methodology, and resource loading.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse technical and executive stakeholders.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saline, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $85.00/hr.
