Enterprise Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a business-focused Enterprise Project Manager (EPM) / Project Leader to support enterprise initiatives within the annuities and insurance domain. This role will focus on the implementation and enhancement of annuities platforms and related digital capabilities within an existing financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple Agile epics, and work closely with Digital teams, Product Managers, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to ensure successful planning and execution. This is a business-facing role with minimal technical involvement, focused on stakeholder alignment, scope planning, and delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of enterprise initiatives related to annuities platform implementation and enhancements
• Manage multiple Agile epics, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product strategy
• Partner with Product Managers, Digital teams, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to coordinate delivery efforts
• Drive project kickoff activities, define scope, and plan for new and evolving requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution
• Establish and manage project timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams
• Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals
• Support change management and transition planning across impacted business units
• Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and status updates to leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
• Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or Annuities domain
• Experience managing cross-functional or enterprise-level projects
• Strong experience working in Agile environments (SAFe or similar preferred)
• Proven ability to work with Product Managers, RTEs, and business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage leadership-level stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification (nice to have)
• Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
• Experience with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
• Experience in digital transformation or platform modernization initiatives

Required Skills and Tools

• JIRA (Agile tracking and reporting)
• Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or Hybrid)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Collaboration tools such as Zoom (whiteboarding)
• Experience with Clarity or similar PPM tools is a plus

• Interview Process: One round panel interview (45–60 minutes)
