Our client, a large retailer and manufacturer located in Mansfield, MA, is looking to hire an Administrative Project Manager for a 6-month contract to support the CIO organization. The consultant is responsible for leading and coordinating strategic initiatives across the IT organization. This role partners closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO), IT leadership, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor technology programs that align with enterprise priorities. This is not a technology delivery or implementation PM, but instead more of a Project Manager supporting technology org.
The Project Manager ensures effective communication and reporting across the CIO portfolio. This role also supports executive-level initiatives such as IT transformation, operating model improvements, digital strategy execution, and enterprise technology programs. The PM will translate CIO strategic priorities into structured programs and projects and help develop project charters, roadmaps, timelines, and success metrics for the CIO. The consultant will maintain dashboards and reporting for CIO leadership and assist in prioritization of projects and resource allocation.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of project management experience in IT or technology organizations
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations and reports.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana).
- Experience supporting CIO or senior technology leadership.
- Project management certification desired (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery frameworks.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $54 - $84.50 per hour
