Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Process Development Associate - Onsite for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. The successful candidate will join the Biosafety Development (BSD) team, which serves a global network by performing viral clearance studies for biological products. This role will primarily focus on performing cell culture, supporting documentation review, and updating integrated digital documentation in collaboration with a team of talented scientists.
Responsibilities: - Support the team in the completion of viral clearance studies
- Perform cell culture maintenance and support
- Assist with documentation support, including making standardized revisions to SOPs
- Improve data analysis workflows
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 2 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of experience
- Background in chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field
- Strong cell culture skills
- Experience with data analysis and data clean up
- Knowledge of Molecular Biology
Desired skills: - Hands-on experience in cell culture techniques
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Advanced scientific/technical reading and writing skills
- Experience with next-generation data capture systems
Pay range: up to $26.62 per hour
