Job Description

Avanciers are looking for skilled Senior Java Developers with experience in Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) to join a long-term project. This role involves hands-on development of enterprise web applications, writing complex SQL queries, and performing in-depth root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for DB2 and Oracle databases
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
Develop and support batch processes and web services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

Required Skills

3+ years of experience with Java (6.0+) and J2EE technologies
Strong hands-on experience with JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JavaScript, and EJBs
Experience with Java IDEs such as RAD 7.5 or higher
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns (Singleton, Factory, DAO)
Knowledge of MVC architecture
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS 8.0)
Strong experience with SQL (DB2 and Oracle)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES)
Exposure to SuSE Linux 11 and VMware environments
