IT Support TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a fast-paced environment supporting a large user base and a wide range of business systems. This individual will play a key role in providing end-user support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and workplace technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on technical support for end users across desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Set up, configure, and support workstations, printers, and other end-user technologies.
- Collaborate with a small IT support team to maintain operational excellence and resolve escalated issues.
- Support a dynamic environment with a large user population and diverse technology needs.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activities.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support role.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Strong experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a business environment.
- Experience supporting modern desktop operating systems and productivity applications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
Preferred Experience- Experience supporting environments with 250+ users and multiple business-critical systems.
- Familiarity with device deployment, printer support, and end-user collaboration technologies.
