Summary

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Technical Lead to act as the primary internal technical authority for a large-scale Workday implementation. This role will partner closely with the System Integrator (SI) to oversee design, integrations, configurations, and overall technical governance, ensuring delivery of scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the internal technical lead for Workday implementation and post-go-live support
Collaborate with System Integrator (SI) to review and guide design, architecture, and development
Lead Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs (SOAP/REST)
Ensure best practices in integration architecture, middleware, and data flow design
Oversee technical governance, code quality, and solution scalability
Review and validate technical documentation, configurations, and deliverables
Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, and UAT
Facilitate knowledge transfer from SI to internal teams
Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with project goals
Provide ongoing support and enhancements post go-live

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience
Strong expertise in:
- Workday Studio
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Core Connectors
- Workday APIs (SOAP/REST)
Solid understanding of integration architecture and middleware concepts
Experience working with System Integrators and vendor management
Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large-scale Workday implementations
Prior experience in a technical lead or architect role
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
