Scrum Master

Location: Chandler, AZ — 100% Onsite at client site

Role Summary

Trilogy NextGen is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a fast-moving product team for our enterprise client in Chandler, AZ. You''ll be the agile heartbeat of a cross-functional team — facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, coaching the team on agile values, and partnering with Product Owners to keep the backlog healthy.

Key Responsibilities

•     Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

•     Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and continuous improvement.

•     Identify, track, and remove impediments; escalate when needed.

•     Partner closely with the Product Owner on backlog grooming, story sizing, and release planning.

•     Maintain agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and use them to drive team conversations.

•     Foster a healthy, collaborative team culture; protect the team from churn and outside noise.

Required Qualifications

•     5+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master in an enterprise or product-engineering setting.

•     Hands-on expertise with Jira and Confluence (boards, workflows, dashboards, reports).

•     Strong working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban; experience in a scaled framework (SAFe, LeSS, or similar) a plus.

•     Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.

•     CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master certification.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

•     Experience supporting teams that build cloud-native applications (Kubernetes, microservices).

•     Prior experience working across distributed and onsite teams.

•     Background in QA, development, or business analysis before becoming a Scrum Master.

Compensation

Rate is negotiable based on experience. We are open to W2 and C2C arrangements.
