Schedule

  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Alternating Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • (When you work Saturday, you'll have Monday off)
  • Note: As this is a new contract, some flexibility with hours and locations is expected.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Deskside Support Technician, you'll provide hands-on, customer-facing IT support in a healthcare setting:
  • Resolve incidents and service requests (software break/fix)
  • Perform IMAC work (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes)
  • Support PC refreshes and hardware upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and support peripherals, including:
    • Paper and ID scanners
    • Barcode scanners
    • Credit card readers
    • Label printers
    • Signature pads
    • Dragon dictation microphones
    • RFID readers
  • Provide support at Tech Walk-Up Bars
  • Document work and updates in ServiceNow
  • Use remote support tools (e.g., LogMeIn) when applicable

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ months of Windows 11 support
  • 6+ months of deskside support, PC refresh, or IMAC experience
  • (Geek Squad or retail IT experience is welcome)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic experience with Active Directory
  • Experience supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Must be fully vaccinated or willing to comply

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • Experience supporting IT in a healthcare setting
  • ServiceNow experience (especially ticket documentation)
  • Familiarity with remote support tools
  • Prior enterprise or field support experience

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
