Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Manager (Manual Testing) to lead and oversee our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing methodologies and a proven track record in the financial or banking domain. This role involves managing QA teams, defining testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers focused on manual testing.
Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
Oversee end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, and UAT support.
Ensure compliance with financial/banking regulations and data security standards.
Identify risks, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Establish and improve QA processes, best practices, and documentation standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing methodologies and team performance.
Provide regular reporting on QA metrics, test progress, and release readiness.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a QA leadership role.
Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and lifecycle.
Experience working in financial services, banking, fintech, or insurance domains.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., KYC, AML, PCI-DSS).
Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
Basic understanding of automation testing (not mandatory but advantageous).
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
