Position Description:
The Document Specialist position is a project role, with a 1-year contract.
The contract will encompass the 2026 calendar year.
The Document Specialist role is a contractor for one of MTP’s top Clients. This position will support our Client’s Technical Services / Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) team projects and objectives for 2026.
The Document Specialist role will primarily be responsible for the following:
1 Creating updated master production records (MPRs), aligning them to revised templates.
2 Incorporating revisions to MPRs, based on feedback and external guidance.
3 Routing documents through Elanco’s document management system.
4 Tracking and reporting project progress.
Performing reviews of MPRs for accuracy and document alignment.
Basic Requirements:
· Superior Microsoft Word formatting skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail and commitment to customer service
· Collaboration in a team-based environment
· Ability to effectively work within records software and updated files accurately
· Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
· Proven organization and time management skills
· Ability to work in environment with evolving priorities
· Operates in compliant manner with a high level of accuracy, integrity, and ethics
· Performs the duties with minimal supervision
Ability to follow written procedures
Other Information:
Primary work hours are first shift.
Education / Experience:
Minimum of high school diploma / GED.
Work experience in USDA or regulated animal health industry is beneficial.
Interaction with TS/MS, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel for clarification and guidance will be required.
