Role: IT Program Manager (Wireless/Mobile/WiFi)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Rate: $65/hour W2
Schedule: Onsite

Overview:
The IT Program Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more highly complex, enterprise wide technology programs consisting of multiple interdependent projects. This role develops the overall program strategy, business case, and high level plans while ensuring seamless integration across all project workstreams. The Program Manager partners closely with IT and business leadership to drive delivery of all initiatives within scope, on time, and within budget—specifically supporting initiatives within Wireless, Mobile, and WiFi technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage enterprise level IT programs composed of multiple complex projects within the Wireless/Mobile/WiFi domain.
Develop program strategy, business case, roadmaps, and high level project plans aligned to organizational goals.
Ensure integration and alignment between all projects; adjust scope, timelines, and budgets as necessary to meet business needs.
Partner with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and IT Business Consultants to communicate program direction, updates, and required changes.
Deliver all projects within the program portfolio on schedule, within budget, and meeting business and technical requirements.
Track key milestones, risks, and dependencies; provide guidance and recommended adjustments to Project Managers.
Collaborate with senior business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for leveraging IT to achieve enterprise objectives.
Ensure effective use of project/program management methodologies, tools, and standards across the program.
Lead and mentor project managers, project leads, and supporting staff (direct or dotted line).
Maintain strong governance, reporting, and financial oversight of all program components.

Required Qualifications

Background managing programs in Wireless, Mobile, or WiFi technologies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
Project Management certification required (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent).
10–15 years of combined IT and business/industry experience.
Minimum 5–8 years managing complex IT projects.
Minimum 3 years in a leadership or program level role.
Proven experience delivering enterprise wide technology programs.
Extensive knowledge of program and project management methodologies, tools, frameworks, and governance standards.

Preferred Experience

Experience coordinating across multiple technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders in a large, matrixed environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and executive level reporting skills.
