Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- We are seeking an experiencedcontract consultantto provide strategic guidance, structure, and execution support as we establish anew merchant services relationship with a commercial bank(e.g., acquiring/sponsorship, settlement, and processing model) fordebit card acceptance, and eventually adding credit card acceptance.
- This individual will help define the target operating model, lead key workstreams with internal stakeholders and external partners, and ensure the relationship is set up in a way that preserves optionality for afuture direct relationship with payment gateways/processors.
- This is a contract engagement suited for a senior payment professional with deep experience acrossmerchant acquiring, bank sponsorship, gateway/processor integrations, card network rules, settlement/reconciliation, disputes, PCI, risk/compliance, operating model design, and vendor/contract strategy.
