Job Summary - Why you'll love this positionThe Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) seeks to hire an Associate Data Analyst. This is a Central Office position with minimal to no travel required. The position domicile and assigned work location will be in Jefferson City. This position is in-office only.
The base salary offered for this position is up to $47,645.04 annually, commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.
Responsibilities - What you'll doThe position duties may include: - Utilizing data and information gathered from multiple data collection systems and external data sources to report on behavioral health programs.
- Creating tables and dashboards via Excel/Tableau.
- Ad hoc reporting as requested by internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
In addition to providing the final reporting products, this position will perform data extraction, statistical analysis, policy related decision support and consultation, and assist with data related to initiatives within the Division of Behavioral Health.
Qualifications - All you need for successQualifications:Two or more years of relevant experience or education related to data collection, analysis, compilation, or tabulation.
Knowledge required:This position will assist in collecting, tabulating and assembling data for other team and DBH staff. Candidates with statistical analysis, SQL, Tableau or strong Microsoft Access/Excel are preferred. Knowledge of mental health and/or substance use disorder services or healthcare data is also preferred but not required. Candidates should have good communication skills.
