Are you an experienced automotive engineering professional with expertise in Design Verification Planning (DVP), Product Validation (PV), and electrical systems development? Join a team where your technical leadership will help drive successful vehicle launches, quality improvements, and next-generation automotive innovation.

We are seeking an Automotive Product Validation Engineer - DVP/PV Lead (Electrical Systems) to lead validation strategy, testing execution, and cross-functional coordination for automotive electrical systems, with a primary focus on high-voltage wiring harnesses and electrical distribution systems. This is a validation leadership role supporting programs from prototype development through vehicle launch.

Automotive Product Validation Engineer Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Design Verification Plan (DVP) and Product Validation (PV) activities for automotive electrical systems.

  • Develop validation strategies, test plans, and prototype requirements.

  • Coordinate validation efforts with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams.

  • Monitor validation status, engineering changes, and program milestones.

  • Support vehicle launches, warranty investigations, and continuous quality improvements.

  • Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) and maintain validation documentation.

  • Support DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, 8D problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Automotive Product Validation Engineer Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical or Mechatronics acceptable).

  • 5-10 years of automotive engineering experience.

  • 5-10 years of experience with automotive electrical systems or wiring harness design/validation.

  • Proven experience leading Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV).

  • Experience developing and managing Design Verification Plans (DVPs).

  • Vehicle launch and automotive product development experience.

  • Knowledge of PPAP, DFMEA, APQP, and root cause analysis.

  • Experience using TeamCenter and/or CATIA.


Automotive Product Validation Engineer Preferred Qualifications:


  • High-voltage wiring harness or Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) experience.

  • Manufacturing, component validation, bench, dyno, or vehicle testing experience.

  • Experience with 3DX, WERS, Falcon, RPS, eCAR, DCCS/ACCS.

  • Six Sigma experience or familiarity with AI productivity tools.
