RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Countryside, IL that is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to help mature and scale Agile practices across the organization while driving successful project delivery.
Summary:
This role is ideal for an experienced Agile leader who excels in transforming teams, improving delivery processes, and creating structure within evolving environments. The successful candidate will serve as both a Scrum Master and delivery leader, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to guide initiatives from concept through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Agile delivery efforts across multiple projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation through deployment
* Facilitate and continuously improve Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews
* Drive Agile maturity by establishing best practices, improving team effectiveness, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
* Introduce and maintain release planning processes to improve visibility, predictability, and delivery outcomes
* Develop prioritization frameworks and help align work to business objectives and strategic goals
* Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
* Remove obstacles and facilitate resolution of issues impacting project success
* Coordinate work across business teams, technical teams, leadership, vendors, and external partners
* Champion Agile methodologies and coach teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices
* Drive accountability and transparency through effective reporting, communication, and stakeholder management
* Establish scalable delivery processes that improve efficiency, predictability, and project outcomes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
* 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Agile Delivery Lead, Technical Project Manager, or similar role
* Proven experience leading Agile transformations and improving organizational Agile maturity
* Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile delivery frameworks, and modern project management practices
* Demonstrated success implementing process improvements, release planning, and delivery governance
* Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and requirements through deployment and post-launch support
* Strong risk management, dependency management, and issue resolution skills
* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex business and technology environments
* Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and evolving requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, or outsourced development teams
* Background supporting software development, digital transformation, or technology modernization initiatives
* Experience working with engineering, product, and business leadership teams
This is not a traditional Scrum Master role focused solely on facilitating ceremonies. We are looking for a change agent who can bring structure, discipline, and strategic Agile leadership to an organization that is evolving its Agile practices. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and can successfully balance Agile coaching, delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and project execution while driving meaningful organizational improvements.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
