Description: Our client is currently seeking a Nexthink Engineer

Title: Nexthink Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain the Nexthink platform across enterprise environments.
  • Manage Nexthink Collector packaging and agent rollouts.
  • Set up integrations with enterprise systems such as AD, SSO, Jira/ServiceNow, chatbots, monitoring tools, etc.
  • Create and customize dashboards, alerts, campaigns, flows, application experience modules, and remote actions tailored to customer needs.
  • Analyze Nexthink data, generate insights, and provide periodic updates to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Perform baseline analysis of end-user devices and application KPIs; define threshold metrics; contribute to SLA documentation.
  • Produce scheduled reports (Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly).
  • Work closely with IT, EUC, and support teams to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Present Nexthink findings and value propositions to customers periodically.
  • Develop scripts in PowerShell to automate tasks and integrate with AD or Windows components.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for Nexthink processes and configurations.
  • Provide enablement, training, and support to increase adoption among Service Desk and EUC teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhance Digital Employee Experience (DEX).
  • Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical support for end-user computing, Intune, AD, and application monitoring environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Must Have / Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Nexthink platform (Collector packaging, agent rollout, platform setup).
  • Proven experience integrating Nexthink with AD, SSO, ITSM tools (Jira/ServiceNow), monitoring tools, bots, etc.
  • Expertise in creating Nexthink Dashboards, Alerts, Campaigns, Remote Actions, Flows, Application Experience modules.
  • Strong command of NQL.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present Nexthink data with actionable insights.
  • Good understanding of Windows environments and EUC operations.
  • Solid PowerShell scripting skills (L2 level or above) including automation involving AD and OS components.
  • Experience with Intune, Azure Cloud, Application Monitoring, and desktop support.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI (basic to intermediate preferred).
