You will not just follow a playbook; you will build the methodology for how enterprise data is secured and governed within the Island Enterprise Platform. This is an opportunity to build the team from the ground up.
WHAT YOU''LL DO
Customer Deployment & Governance Engagements
- Lead time-boxed, structured deployment engagements focusing on Data Protection from kickoff through handoff.
- Conduct on-site workshops with customer IT, security, and data governance teams to define policy requirements.
- Work with our CSM and Deployment specialists who will configure Island Enterprise Platform environments, specifically focusing on DLP (Data Loss Prevention), web filtering, AI protection, data lineage/visibility, and endpoint policy management.
- Identify and remove technical and organizational governance blockers in real-time.
- Deliver a complete, documented handoff that leaves customers ready to manage their data security independently.
Building the Data Protection Practice

· Hands-on experience developing and deploying Data Protection and Data Governance work in enterprise environments.
· Deep expertise in enterprise security concepts, including DLP, zero trust, and endpoint policy management.
· Strong technical foundation with enterprise identity (Entra ID, Okta), SSO/SAML/SCIM, and browser environments.
· Understanding of AI topics, experience working with AI to execute work, and experience using AI to support modernizing data protection and data governance
· Proven ability to lead workshops and drive decision-making among senior stakeholders.
· Exceptional communication skills to translate complex data security requirements into clear guidance.
