Title: Senior Program Manager - Azure Location: Mansfield, TX Work Mode: onsite
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager with expertise in Azure. The Senior
Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution
of initiatives focused on transitioning reporting and data extraction
processes. This role requires a strong technical foundation, exceptional
communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business
stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and executive leadership.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale data
modernization initiatives, enterprise reporting transformation, and Azure cloud
migration efforts. The candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple
concurrent projects on schedule and within budget by applying project
management best practices, ensuring scope alignment, managing stakeholder
expectations, and proactively tracking risks and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of reporting and data extract migration initiatives
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues,
and dependencies.
- Ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and budget across multiple concurrent
initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between technical teams, business units,
and leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency through structured
reporting and governance.
Technical Collaboration
- Conduct detailed requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to
understand reporting, extract, and downstream data needs.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers and solution architects to ensure business and
technical requirements are accurately implemented.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for diverse
audiences.
- Apply Agile methodologies using frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban to drive
sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking.
Risk & Performance Management
- Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and monitor solution performance in
partnership with technical leads.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of key project artifacts, including project
plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
- Maintain structured documentation to support governance and audit readiness.
Required Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in
Computer Science or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in Program management preferably in Azure
modernization projects
- 10 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure,)
- Proven ability to gather and document complex business and technical requirements
