Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Work Location Strategist for a
contract assignment with one of our premier
SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities :
- 1. Work Location Strategy Development & Planning
- Partner with me to support development of work location strategies aligned to business growth, workforce planning, and organizational priorities.
- Analyze portfolio, utilization trends, and business requirements to inform recommendations.
- Support development of business cases, financial analyses, and ROI projections for location decisions.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs associated with location strategy decisions.
- 2. Strategy Execution & Project Management
- Lead day-to-day execution of approved work location strategy initiatives, (strategic location recommendations and POV's)
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Track milestones and cross-functional deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- 3. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Facilitate planning workshops and stakeholder working sessions to gather requirements and validate assumptions.
- Prepare executive-ready materials for governance reviews and decision forums.
- 4. Change & Implementation Support
- Ensure stakeholders are informed, prepared, and aligned throughout execution.
Required Skills :
- Strong project and program management skills with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to translate mass quantities of data into a strategic recommendation.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting data and supporting business cases.
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholders and functional teams.
- Skilled at facilitating discussions and driving alignment.
- Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues.
- Minimum Education (Baseline Expectation) - Bachelor's degree required, typically in: Business Administration, Organizational Strategy, Real Estate / Facilities / Workplace Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in workplace strategy, location strategy or other strategic role in real estate.
- Experience supporting portfolio planning, location strategy, or workplace transformation initiatives preferred.
- Familiarity with governance processes and executive-level reporting a plus.
