Consultant Product Manager (Web & Mobile)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Product Manager to support web and mobile products serving a large and diverse user community. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, customers, leadership, and development teams to drive product strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate combines strengths in product management, business analysis, project management, and relationship management, with a relentless focus on user experience and delivering business value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for web and mobile applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user needs, and system functionality.
  • Partner with stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to prioritize initiatives and align product goals.
  • Lead discovery, solution design, implementation, and iterative improvement efforts.
  • Manage multiple products and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Facilitate discussions, workshops, presentations, demos, and whiteboard sessions with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive enhancements and improve user experience.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration across business, engineering, marketing, support, and other teams.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Drive process improvements, change management initiatives, and adoption strategies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Project Management.
  • 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and improving systems, processes, and business solutions.
  • Strong experience managing web and/or mobile application products.
  • Proven ability to lead complex solution discussions with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated success improving product performance and customer experience through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading small cross-functional teams (2-4 team members).
  • Experience developing and executing change management strategies.
  • Background in higher education, large enterprise, or customer-facing digital products.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
