Locals Preferred Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring frameworks, and modern application development practices. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, including cloud platforms, microservices, and event-driven architecture, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Java/J2EE web applications using Spring frameworks (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch, Spring Boot).
- Design and implement REST and SOAP web services, JMS, and messaging systems.
- Utilize streaming technologies such as Kafka and cloud platforms like AWS, PCF, and Azure.
- Work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Apply Object-Oriented Design Principles and Patterns in development.
- Develop microservices (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven architecture.
- Implement code management and continuous integration techniques using tools like Gradle, GitHub, Jenkins, and NPM.
- Adopt modern application development practices such as CI/CD, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Automation testing (BDD, Cucumber).
- Collaborate in an agile environment and contribute to DevOps practices.
- Monitor and gather metrics using tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, AppDynamics, and Elastic Search.
- Work with cloud-native technologies such as Azure DevOps, Azure Webapp, Azure AD, AWS EC2, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Design and build front-end Single-Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks like HTML5, AngularJS, and ReactJS.
- Optimize database queries and performance tuning in MongoDB and SQL.
Qualifications: - Minimum 7+ in Java/J2EE Web Application Development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring frameworks and web services.
- Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in code management and continuous integration tools.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD and TDD.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and metrics gathering.
- Experience with front-end frameworks and database optimization.

Pay Range: $65 - $80
