Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Lead strategic FAB and support project planning for UPW and Industrial Wastewater systems including review and approval of ultra-pure water requirements, wastewater discharge regulations and finding critical path solutions for code and regulatory concerns with those materials. Develop, review, and approve SAS/STS site construction related to UPW / wastewater piping, equipment, and the associated distribution rooms and buildings. Provide technical guidance to contracted design teams for review and approval of UPW / wastewater connections and materials of construction. Interface with site operations and teams to audit that new piping, equipment, and secondary containment meets applicable codes and standards, as well as interface between Construction General Contractor, Subcontractor, Consultant Design Team and various Owner organizations. Identify, track, manage, resolve and communicate project issues during design and construction including documenting Site Observation Reports and managing applicable construction punch list to resolution. Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risk points for safety and code compliance. Perform regular field observation inspections to verify existing conditions of installed ductwork, piping, and equipment to ensure that it meets safety and code standards and manage stakeholders in a customer-service oriented team. Participate and guide the commissioning and startup teams before transitioning the ownership to the operations team.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 60 months of experience involving the following:
1. Water / Wastewater Process Design;
2. Commissioning and Start-up of UPW and Wastewater systems;
3. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis; and
4. Reviewing equipment designs.

The current base salary range for this role is between $145,000 to $165,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
