Role Overview
This organization is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals for Datacenter Logistics Associate positions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence. This role is integral to operating a large-scale cloud computing infrastructure by ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock is maintained.
- Receive parts, maintain inventory records, and check out parts to technicians and engineers.
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
- Keep precise records of all commodities moving in and out of the facility.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Skills & Abilities:- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Able to read and take direction in English.
- Ability to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances; may participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.
- Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Inventory Management Systems.
- Understanding of inventory control methodology.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- A demonstrated positive work attitude and commitment to a culture of safety.
Work Environment
The work environment for this role involves functioning with or around moving mechanical parts. The noise level can vary and may be loud, with temperatures typically between 60 and 90 degrees. The role requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods. Work will occasionally be in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to extreme cold or hot weather.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.
