Laserfiche Automation Specialist
Contract-to-Hire | Potential for Extension
Compensation: $80-$90/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Preferred onsite in Tempe, AZ or Columbus, IN. Candidates with the right skill set may be based at other company office locations, including San Antonio, TX or Charlotte, NC. Remote during the contract period, with an onsite expectation if converted to a permanent employee.

This is a unique opportunity for a Laserfiche expert to serve as the primary specialist dedicated to the platform, owning the design, automation, optimization, and support of a complex global environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical ownership and wants to work exclusively with Laserfiche in a highly sophisticated enterprise setting. You''ll play a key role in developing new automations, enhancing existing workflows, and supporting one of the most widely utilized business applications within the organization.
Position Summary
The Laserfiche Automation Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, testing, integration, and ongoing support of a global Laserfiche environment. This role ensures system stability, performance, data integrity, and alignment with evolving business requirements.
Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners across North America, the specialist will provide technical expertise, optimize workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable automation solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Laserfiche expertise with integration, reporting, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement Laserfiche solutions that support business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Develop and enhance automated workflows, forms, and business processes within the Laserfiche ecosystem.
- Execute comprehensive testing of new workflows, integrations, and system enhancements to ensure reliability and performance.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Laserfiche platform.
- Monitor system health, performance, and data quality across a large-scale, multi-user environment.
- Collaborate with business units and project teams to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues.
- Integrate Laserfiche with enterprise applications and other technology platforms through APIs and custom development.
- Generate reports, analyze data, and provide recommendations that support business decision-making.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including workflows, configurations, integrations, and support procedures.
- Stay informed on Laserfiche product updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives with distributed teams across multiple U.S. locations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Laserfiche environments.
- Intermediate to advanced expertise across the Laserfiche suite, including:
- Workflow
- Forms
- Laserfiche Server
- Directory Server
- Import Agent
- Web Client
- WebLink
- Experience supporting multi-server Laserfiche environments, including load-balanced and DMZ configurations.
- Active Laserfiche certification (such as Laserfiche Certified Professional Program – LCP).
- Strong technical skills in:
- Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of APIs and system integration methodologies.
- Proven ability to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise-scale Laserfiche environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field. Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience integrating Laserfiche with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms.
- Familiarity with financial processes, reporting, and business operations.
- Experience working within large, distributed, or global organizations.
- Background in data migration, data transformation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise technology solutions.
