Automation Quality Analyst

Role: Automation Quality Analyst

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
• Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
• Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
• Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
• Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience designing automated tests and creating scripts for database testing automation.
• 8+ years of experience prioritizing test scenarios and developing test execution plans.
• 8+ years of experience creating test plans, test cases, and setting up test environments.
• 8+ years of experience performing functional, application, and regression testing.
• 8+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience interpreting business and technical requirement documents and updating test documentation accordingly.
• 8+ years of experience in analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• 8+ years of experience acquiring and applying business domain knowledge within assigned customer areas.
• 8+ years of experience demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 8+ years of experience collaborating directly with customers throughout the testing lifecycle.
• 8+ years of experience utilizing strong analytical, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while managing multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with the Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and related document templates.
• 2+ years of experience with information architecture and information management methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with software technologies, software architecture, and infrastructure components across global, regional, and local environments.
