Summary

Job Summary The COBOL Mainframe Developer will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining mainframe systems with a focus on improving system resiliency, automation, and stability. This role involves working on batch processing, file-driven systems, and ACH-related applications to support critical financial operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL Support and enhance ACH processing systems and related workflows Work with PEP+ (Fiserv) platform for ACH processing Develop and manage batch processes using JCL Handle and process large volumes of sequential and file-based data Support and maintain DB2 databases and VCM files Implement automation solutions to improve system efficiency and stability Troubleshoot and resolve issues in batch and file-driven processes Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving system resiliency and performance Required Qualifications Strong experience in mainframe COBOL development Experience working with ACH processing systems Experience with PEP+ (Fiserv) platform Strong expertise in JCL and batch processing Experience working with DB2 databases and VCM files Extensive experience with sequential file processing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or banking environments Experience supporting system modernization or automation initiatives Experience improving system performance and resiliency Education: Bachelors Degree
