Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Baltimore region.

This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, including client relationships, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, project financials, and team coordination.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • \tManage projects from award through completion
  • \tServe as the primary point of contact for clients
  • \tDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • \tReview project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements
  • \tMonitor budgets, schedules, project costs, and profitability
  • \tLead change order management and risk assessment activities
  • \tCoordinate procurement activities with vendors and subcontractors
  • \tReview and submit payment applications, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and closeout documents
  • \tAttend project meetings and maintain communication with all stakeholders
  • \tEnsure project financials are accurate and up to date
  • \tPromote safety, quality, and operational excellence on every project
  • \tPartner with field leadership to successfully execute projects
  • \tIdentify opportunities for additional business and future work

Qualifications
  • \t5+ years of Project Management experience within construction
  • \tCommercial, industrial, electrical, mechanical, or specialty contractor experience preferred
  • \tStrong understanding of project financials, contracts, and change management
  • \tExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • \tExcellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • \tBachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • \tProven ability to drive projects to successful completion

Preferred
  • \tExisting customer relationships that could generate future business
  • \tAbility to attract or develop field talent
  • \tExperience with ERP/project management software
  • \tElectrical construction experience highly desirable

Location
  • \tBaltimore, MD area
  • \tOffice-based or project-site based. Most project travel is local and typically under 30 minutes, with occasional travel up to approximately 2 hours.
