Role Summary
Client is seeking an experienced Development Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade integration and digital platform solutions.
This role requires strong hands-on technical leadership across MuleSoft integrations, Java/Spring Boot development, CI/CD automation, and emerging AI/MCP server capabilities, along with experience in cloud and messaging technologies.
The selected candidate will work in a hybrid onsite model, collaborating closely with architecture, product, and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of integration and application solutions
- Serve as technical lead, providing mentorship, code reviews, and architectural guidance
- Design and implement MuleSoft-based integration architectures (APIs, message flows, system integrations)
- Drive hands-on development using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment
- Integrate AI capabilities, including MCP server concepts, for intelligent automation
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to security, scalability, performance, and compliance standards
- Support production readiness, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Participate in Agile/Scaled Agile (SAFe) processes and release planning
Primary Skills Required
- MuleSoft Integration Architect
- Strong experience designing and implementing MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns
- Java Senior Developer
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- DevOps / CI-CD
- Strong experience with Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines and automation

- Exposure to MCP server concepts and AI-driven solution components
Secondary Skills (Preferred)
- AWS Cloud Services: RDS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB
- Kafka: Event-driven architecture and messaging systems
- Databases: Strong knowledge of Oracle
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Development Lead / Technical Lead in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial services or insurance domain preferred
