Agentic BI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Agentic BI Developer in Irvine, CA.

Overview:
The Agentic BI Developer is responsible for designing and developing AI-powered analytics agents that proactively monitor business conditions, identify opportunities and risks, generate insights, and assist users in making faster, more informed decisions.

This role will build the next generation of analytics experiences that move beyond traditional dashboards and conversational reporting toward intelligent agents capable of reasoning across trusted enterprise data, recommending actions, and guiding users through decision-making processes.

Working closely with business stakeholders, Semantic Layer Architects, Data Engineers, AI teams, and Analytics Product Managers, the Agentic BI Developer will ensure all agentic experiences are built upon governed semantic models, certified business metrics, and enterprise data products to deliver trustworthy and explainable outcomes.

Duties:
* Design, develop, and deploy intelligent analytics agents that proactively deliver insights, recommendations, alerts, and decision support
* Build AI-powered experiences that monitor business performance and identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities without requiring users to initiate analysis
* Develop agentic workflows that combine analytics, business rules, AI reasoning, and automation to accelerate business decisions
* Ensure all AI-generated insights and recommendations are grounded in certified metrics, approved business definitions, and governed semantic models
* Create experiences that seamlessly integrate visual analytics, narratives, conversational interactions, and recommended actions
* Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases for Agentic BI and Decision Intelligence solutions
* Collaborate with Semantic Layer Architects to ensure alignment between agents, business metrics, KPIs, and enterprise data products

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
