Job Description
The State of Texas is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to automate data exchange and data processing solutions within Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate should have strong recent hands-on experience in Python automation, Snowflake development, and data integration solutions involving external partners.
The candidate will analyze business objectives, identify alternative technical solutions, automate existing processes, and develop scalable Snowflake-based applications and integrations.
Required Skills :
Strong hands-on experience with Python Development
Experience developing automated solutions for data exchange with external partners
Extensive experience with Snowflake Database Development
Experience building solutions using Snowpipe
Experience developing User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake
Experience building custom User Interface solutions within Snowflake
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
Experience analyzing user requirements and automating business processes
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities :
Design and develop automated data processing solutions
Build and maintain Snowflake-based integrations and pipelines
Develop scalable Python applications for data exchange automation
Create and optimize Snowpipe implementations and UDFs
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements
Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and enhancements
Prepare technical documentation and implementation details
Additional Notes:
Recent Snowflake and Python experience is mandatory
Face-to-Face interview required
Candidates must currently reside in Texas
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
