Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Endevor (and other SCMs) DBB/GIT/IDD migration projects.
• Perform installation, configuration, and problem determination for DBB/GIT/IDD on customer systems.
• Analyze, convert, and validate Endevor applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DBB/GIT/IDD-related issues.
• Conduct customer training sessions and develop presentation materials for DBB/GIT/IDD and migration processes.
• Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Application Development or System Programmer background.
• Proven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Strong problem determination and troubleshooting skills related to IMU.

Technical Proficiency (Working Knowledge)

• Groovy scripting
• YAML
• Git
• Repository management
• CI/CD pipelines (debugging and troubleshooting build/pipeline failures)
• Branching strategies

Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Ability to conduct DBB/Git/IDD training sessions.
• Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations using Microsoft Word and standard productivity tools.
• Ability to assist clients in diagnosing and resolving conversion-related issues.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years as a Systems Programmer or similar role.
• 4+ years of customer-facing consulting experience.
• Experience in development, application lifecycle management, or change management.

Preferred Attributes

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Mainframe modernization
  • SCM
  • DBB/GIT/IDD
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a global team.
