Each staff member assigned to this project must have a background screening that is equivalent to a Level Two (2) screening standard.
This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.
May be required to periodically travel between BOCA, Ocoee and Pompano Beach
Interviews:
In the event an interview is requested, in-person interviews will be conducted at Boca Raton, Florida. At the discretion of the manager, interviews may be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams. A phone interview may also be requested as a first step.

General Characteristics
Responsible for managing the lifecycle of SunPass products, solutions, and applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the SunPass Operations roadmap. Oversees product development activities, reporting standards, and operational governance while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions. Acts as a liaison between SunPass Operations, Toll Operations leadership, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery, continuous improvement, and compliance with established standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Product Development & Delivery
• Manages research and development activities related to the design, enhancement, and qualification of SunPass products and solutions.
• Works with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements and transition products from development to commercialization.
• Assists in determining product delivery and deployment schedules for new releases, feature updates, and maintenance cycles.
• Acts as a technical consultant to the SunPass Operations team, leading testing and evaluation of innovative technologies.
• Ensures technology and product specifications align with SunPass business objectives.
• Oversees product delivery, managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
2. Operational Governance & Reporting
• Develops and maintains a centralized inventory of SunPass products, solutions, and applications.
• Captures and tracks SunPass Operations initiative updates in compliance with reporting standards.
• Monitors input from all business units to ensure products meet functional and performance requirements.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and lifecycle replacement needs; prepares documentation and summaries for leadership visibility.
• Collaborates with Toll Operations Business Intelligence team to develop dashboards and reporting tools for program performance monitoring.
• Ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are created and maintained, establishing a lifecycle process for updates.
3. Strategic Support & Emergency Response
• Gains detailed knowledge of all facets of SunPass Operations to support decision-making and implementation of initiatives.
• Serves in times of emergency to support state response efforts and ensure continuity of operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Complexity: Program Lead
Mandatory Experience:
A minimum of 12+ years of Tech industry, product engineering, operations, technology integration, or other related work experience.
including 5 or more years managing projects.
Other requirements:
-Responsible for assembling project schedules and project implementation plans.
-Solid experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and methodologies.
-Solid experience with Project Management Methodologies.
-PMP Certification is Desirable.
Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
