Product Owner

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the program backlog
• Identify customer needs, document requirements/features and prioritize epics/features
• Work closely with design team on solution architect and provide business support
• Work with PO to provide support on feature team
• Maintain PI objectives created by teams during the PI Planning and map them to iteration goals

Requirements:

• 5 years' of domain expertise in treasury products: DDA, client liquidity, payments, receivables, billing and trade finance
• Deep financial domain expertise
• Understanding of banking and treasury value chain
• Proficient in articulating the business problem and the technical solution
• Have the finesse to navigate within a large organization to influence big decision makers and win trust using people skills and technology knowledge
• Proficient with eliciting business requirements, reviewing process flows, developing technical / system flows
• Comfortable with reviewing technical designs, providing feedback and confirmation of alignment to desired capabilities
• Deep understanding of matter data management principles and applications
• Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting
• Strong experience supporting technical delivery
• Experience in Agile Methodology preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing

Desired skills:

• Business analyst, JIRA, design, understanding of banking domain
• Proficient in the data technology space with an understanding of data constructs and technologies
• Strong experience supporting technical delivery
• Experience in Agile Methodology preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Pay range: $51.37 - $59.37
