Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a Quality Technician with Automated expertise for 1st Shift to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and quality teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Technician (Automated environment) - 1st Shift
Location:Fremont, CA
Pay Range:$25-29/hr.
What's the Job?
- Evaluate parts produced on various lines, including electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, and assembly processes.
- Flag suspect or nonconforming parts, support containment activities, and promote a culture of quality.
- Guide production teams to properly disposition parts as good for use, need repair, or scrap, while documenting and communicating defects.
- Comprehend current production quality standards and determine if ongoing production meets those standards.
- Support incoming and in-process quality activities, and develop/implement countermeasures to quality issues.
What's Needed?
- Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to decipher data, document defects, and support manufacturing lines.
- Knowledge of basic measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and torque wrenches is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
