Chief Product Officer - you are committed to building world-class products that achieve product/market alignment and provide mentoring and coaching to your team. You have full stack product management capability at a senior level across research, design, tech, team management and testing, and aim to upskill/develop where relevant with the rest of your team.
Research - you will have mastered qualitative and quantitative data techniques and will remain ruthlessly focused on the needs of the market and customers/prospects: empathizing with them, learning from them and co-designing with them to bring opportunities they had never imagined.
Design - you will lead the execution of the design strategy, be competent in sketching and whiteboarding ideas, and be able to map out wireframes to help communicate ideas with a broad range of collaborators. You will understand the role of design systems and look to implement them in products you manage.
Technology - you will be competent in writing technical product specifications, epics, features and requirements. You will be competent in prioritizing and allocating work to be done and giving tech teams (internal, external) the detail and instructions they need to build fast and with clarity. You will remain on top of the latest product management ideas and with the wider team will commit to creating content and IP that reflects the best practice playbooks in building products.
Team Management - you will help the internal team and external contractors and partners optimize their speed of learning, with a focus on building and shipping prototypes/products and actioning real world data. You will be comfortable managing cross-functional teams and motivating them to achieve high quality work on time. You will co-design with the entire team when relevant and look to empower everyone to contribute and deliver continual improvement. Your job is to understand design thinking, lean startup and agile principles and frameworks and to know when to use what from that toolkit to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Testing - you will be competent in managing testing and UAT testing, and will know when a product is ready to move into a production environment. You will be competent in assessing bugs as they arise, their severity and how to prioritize fixing them.

-6+ years of experience in product management roles
-10+ years of experience in businesses that are focused on digital products

-Strong grasp of sketching and wireframing
-Strong grasp of technology, tech frameworks and methods of working

-Startup tenacity, resourcefulness, get it done attitude focused on quality, timely delivery
-Experience with Agile, Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies
-Strategic and logical, able to construct systems and develop/communicate the big picture
-Commercial acuity, understanding business models and drivers and able to translate market/customer needs into product requirements
-Ability to coach and mentor junior and mid-level managers that may be remote
-Lead, define and communicate the product roadmap quarterly, providing strong rationale for its prioritization
-Ensure tech stack and tech team selection is robustly thought through and articulated in conjunction with the CTO and tech team
-Data analysis leading to insights that inform new features, improve decision making and unearth points of frustration/pain for users.
-Collaboratively work with UX designers to prototype, test and design new features
-Stakeholder consultation and management
-Develop the systems, processes, and frameworks that will drive efficiencies and consistent quality as the team grows
-Run Agile ceremonies for the product and tech team (daily standups, sprint planning, showcases, retrospectives, etc.)
-Facilitate team workshops to gather team input on new features
-Own and QA daily product management tasks such as writing tickets with user stories and acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, UAT
-Stay up to date on market trends, competitors and new best-practice tools to inform your product strategy and iteration
-Align product vision with the business s short and long-term goals
-Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
-Proficiency in a modern product management toolset
-Commitment to full stack product: tech, design, customer, growth, business
-Manage, coach and mentor other team members as required
