Job Description – IT Project Manager III (Blue Yonder MPS)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to lead the implementation of the Blue Yonder Master Production Scheduling (MPS) solution within a complex enterprise manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through deployment and post-go-live support, while ensuring successful delivery of supply chain planning and reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing enterprise software implementations, specifically Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) planning solutions, along with reporting and analytics projects utilizing Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI. This individual will partner with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that support production planning, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder Master Production Scheduling (MPS) as the primary IT Project Manager.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource plans, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technical resources, functional consultants, system integrators, and third-party vendors.
• Manage reporting and analytics workstreams supporting supply chain operations using Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Gather reporting requirements and oversee the development of operational dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
• Coordinate integrations between Blue Yonder, ERP platforms, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and other enterprise applications.
• Drive project governance by managing milestones, dependencies, project schedules, and executive reporting.
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests while ensuring timely resolution.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, executive status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and organizational implementation practices.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement, ERP, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams.
• Oversee testing, cutover planning, deployment, hypercare, and project closure activities.
• Maintain project documentation including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Support additional PMO initiatives and enterprise technology projects as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise IT implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading Blue Yonder (JDA) implementation projects, preferably involving Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Supply Planning, or Manufacturing Planning.
• Experience managing reporting and analytics initiatives utilizing Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Power BI.

• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Master Production Scheduling (MPS) or other Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning modules.
• Experience implementing enterprise reporting solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience integrating Blue Yonder with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or other project management certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
