Job Title: ServiceNow Developer – AI/GenAI Location: Minneapolis, MN Contract Job Summary We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong AI/GenAI expertise to design, develop, customize, and integrate ServiceNow solutions while leveraging emerging AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, integrations, workflows, and AI technologies such as Now Assist, Generative AI, LLMs, AI Search, and Virtual Agent. Key Responsibilities Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Script Includes. Implement and enhance ServiceNow AI/GenAI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, and AI-powered workflows. Integrate ServiceNow with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and web services. Develop solutions using JavaScript/GlideScript and ServiceNow scripting frameworks. Configure and customize ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules. Work with LLM/GenAI technologies to identify opportunities for automation and intelligent service management. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Troubleshoot, test, document, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across environments. Follow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and upgrade-safe customization principles. Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting. Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflows, ACLs, and REST APIs. Experience with ServiceNow integrations and IntegrationHub. Hands-on exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI Search, Virtual Agent, or Now Assist. Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform architecture. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Skills ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). CIS certifications in relevant modules. Experience implementing Now Assist / GenAI use cases. Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, or enterprise AI integrations. Experience with REST APIs and external AI/LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI or OpenAI APIs.
