Digital Payments Operations Specialist
Location: Vienna, VA or Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL (hybrid)

This is a shift from 3AM-11:30AM. This role can work hybrid out of Pensacola, Florida; Vienna, VA; or Winchester, VA. This is a long-term contract position.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related operational processes
- Understand and apply regulatory requirements, including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, and internal policies to mitigate operational and compliance risk
- Analyze complex payment scenarios, identify root causes, resolve exceptions efficiently, and make sound decisions while balancing member service, risk, and operational requirements
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and financial losses
- Effectively partner with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues, provide updates, and support operational objectives
Requirements
- Knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related processes
- Understanding of OFAC screening, fraud prevention, BSA, and internal compliance policies
- Ability to analyze complex payment scenarios and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in reviewing documentation
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
