Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Systems Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team in the renewable energy sector. As a Systems Configuration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our systems, ensuring they are configured to meet our operational needs and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BOM Creation, Product Data Management, NetSuite, BOM governance, and AutoCAD tools like Vault, Inventor, and Fusion.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain system configurations to ensure they meet both internal and external requirements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and provide technical expertise.
3. Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and govern their usage across the organization.
4. Leverage Product Data Management (PDM) systems to manage product data and streamline processes.
5. Utilize NetSuite for business management tasks, including project management, inventory control, and financial tracking.
6. Implement and oversee BOM governance to ensure consistency and accuracy in product data.
7. Use AutoCAD, Vault, Inventor, and Fusion for designing, modeling, and documenting engineering processes.
8. Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
9. Continuously evaluate and improve system configuration processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Configuration Engineer, preferably in the energy industry.
3. Proficiency in BOM Creation, Product Data Management, Netsuite, BOM governance, AutoCAD tools (Vault, Inventor, and Fusion)
4. Strong understanding of system configuration principles and best practices as it relates to manufacturability.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Experience with sensors is a plus.
8. Experience with meteorological systems/weather systems is a plus.
